William Faddis – Owner of Runway Games Studio
William Faddis, one of the owners of Runway Games, is a natural entrepreneur. Whether it involves games, 3-D printers, Virtual Architectural Realities, weapon systems – pretty much anything technology oriented – Mr. Faddis has had a hand in it.
Instead of shooting the new age weapons of the Covenant in Halo, Mr. Faddis shot real M-16s in the U.S. Army for 14 years. His years in the Army as a helicopter pilot attached to a Cavalry unit inspired the name of Runway Games Studio – that and the fact he has an actual runway in his backyard. Even so, that doesn’t mean he does not have a high love of games. In fact, he used to code his own games and play them. Now, when he is not managing one of his many businesses or his children, he spends his evenings playing Skyrim (because he refuses to take an arrow to the knee) and working on various projects around the house.
Mr. Faddis received a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communications Technology from the California University of Pennsylvania and is currently managing multiple businesses.
